Seaglass Village is funded through a combination of sponsorships, donations, grants, and membership fees. Membership fees help offset the operating expenses of the organization. This includes the salary of the part-time Executive Director, office expenses, liability insurance to cover volunteers, website fees, marketing, and event expenses. We are fortunate to have donated office and administrative support from the First Church in Swampscott, which significantly reduces our expenses.

How Does It Work?

A member requests a service either on the website or by calling the office. Please allow us 3+ days' lead time. The request goes to volunteers via email. When a volunteer accepts the request, he or she reaches out to the member via email or phone to confirm.

We rely on our wonderful volunteers to provide these services and organize events. Volunteers are trained, are fully vaccinated, and pass a CORI (criminal records check) and a driving record check for drivers.

We welcome Volunteers and Members of every race, color, gender identification, faith, sexual orientation, and cultural group.
