Volunteer Benefits
“Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.” Marian Wright Edelman |

Seaglass Village is an all-volunteer organization and relies on those who are willing to donate their talents and time to assist their neighbors—frequently people they do not even know. We cannot exist without our Volunteers! Our Volunteers create a strong network of resources that enables our senior residents to stay connected to the people and activities that are important to them. A Member can also be a Volunteer, paying it forward for the services they need. For example, someone who is no longer driving may ask for help shopping or for a ride to a medical appointment. That same person could be a computer or gardening wiz and be able to help someone else. This is the definition of neighbor helping neighbor! |
