What if your garden (or even your window box or planter) could help restore the ecology of your neighborhood? What if you could give birds and pollinators what they need to thrive? Native species plants are low maintenance, are beautiful, and the butterflies and birds will thank you!
Join us for an
amazing garden tour of 9 native species gardens in Nahant on Saturday, July 8th (with a rain date of Sunday, July 9th). This event is sponsored by Seaglass Village and SWIM (Safer Waters in Massachusetts, a conservation organization based in Nahant). What a great way to see what can be accomplished to restore the ecology of our own back yards and see a bit of Nahant!
All the gardens are focused on restorative efforts to bring harmony and balance that support pollinators and birds, and increase diversity of native plants in their services to the environment's multitude of species.
Pick up garden maps and door prize entry tickets on check-in at Johnson Elementry School, 290 Castle Road, Nahant. There iswill be free parking available at the school.
